Heather Lien, RN, MSN, ARNP

Heather Lien, RN, MSN, ARNP joins Emerald City Medical Arts with a history in Primary Care. Her health care experience covers all ages, from newborn infants to the older adults. She believes that an essential part of her role as a provider is to help patients feel empowered to achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle by setting goals in partnership with the individual. Heather feels this is best achieved by recognizing and respecting an individual’s unique needs, health care expectations and lifestyle choices.

Heather’s educational background includes a BS in Psychology from the University of Washington and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Seattle University. Prior to nursing, Heather worked in various high tech professions including web development and graphic design. She also was the managing editor of a bimonthly health magazine.
